What are Divii's subscription terms?Your subscription begins as soon as your initial payment is processed. Your subscription will automatically renew each month without notice until you cancel. You authorize us to store your payment method(s) and to automatically charge your payment method(s) every month until you cancel. We will automatically charge you the then-current rate for your plan, plus applicable taxes (such as GST and PST), every month upon renewal until you cancel. If your primary payment method fails, you authorize us to charge any other payment method in your account. If you have not provided us a backup payment method(s) and you fail to provide payment, or if all payment methods in your account fail, we may suspend your subscription. We may change your plan’s rate each monthly renewal term, and we will notify you of any rate change with the option to cancel. If the applicable GST or PST rate (or other included tax or duty) changes during your one-month term, we will accordingly adjust the tax-inclusive price for your plan on your next billing date.
-
Can I cancel my subscription?Of course! You can cancel your subscription at any time by contacting our Customer Care team at support@divii.ca. If you cancel within 14 days of your initial order, you’ll be fully refunded. Should you cancel after 14 days, your payment is non-refundable, and your service will continue until the end of that month’s billing period.

Do files that have been shared with me count toward my file limit on the Starter Subscription? No way! You get to create 2 files per month. On top of that, you can collaborate on unlimited files shared with you by other Divii users.
-
How do I add my assistant to collaborate in Divii?First, make sure that your assistant has a Divii account. Once your assistant has set up their account, you can add them to each client file you would like them to help you with. In the top right corner click on the "Share" button and enter the email address your assistant used to create their Divii account. The Client File will then show up in your assistant's Client File dashboard.
-
What subscription should I choose? We get that some legal professionals draft up more separation agreements that others, so we created two subscription options with this in mind. The Starter subscription and Pro subscription come with all of the same features, but the Pro subscription offers unlimited file creation. The Starter subscription, on the other hand, limits the subscriber to creating 2 new Agreements per month.

Can I use Divii on my mobile device? We haven't optimized Divii for mobile yet. We suggest accessing the app on a desktop or tablet for an optimal experience.

Why don't the colours show on the print preview of my Parenting Schedule? On some machines, you need to turn on Background Graphics in order to see the colours as they appear in the Parenting time planner. Simply ensure that the Background Graphics checkbox is checked, and you should see colours correctly.

What's the difference between 'Download' and 'Download Draft'?The 'Download Draft' action will place a DRAFT watermark on each page of your Agreement. You can use this DRAFT version to share with your client or the opposing party. Once you are all set, you can use the 'Download' action to access a version of your Agreement that is ready to sign.

Where did these clauses come from? Our founder has been practicing family law for 15 years and has refined a successful client-centered mediation practice focused on negotiating and drafting Separation Agreements. Over the years, she's honed her Agreement to be clear, concise and correct. We pride ourselves on the readability and client-centered nature of our legal clauses. We hope you'll feel the same.
-
What's the difference between the Preview and the Editor? The Preview tab will preview the Agreement and is a current reflection of the entries made in the Builder tab. You may enable the Editor tab when you have made built the agreement, you are happy with the Preview of the agreement and have reviewed the Property Schedule to ensure you've included the relevant assets and liabilities. The Editor tab is where you refine your language and make the changes you require before sharing or printing.

How does the Parenting Planner work?Let us help you navigate this new tool! The Parenting Planner will help you determine the best option for your clients, whether they are planning on a parenting arrangement or need to sort out contact time. First, you'll want to start by selecting one the of templates available. Once you find the template that works best for your use case, you can double click on any of the time blocks in order to edit or delete the ones to don't need. You can then shift or change the timing of the remaining block, or add brand new blocks using the <Add timeblock> action in the top right corner of the screen. You'll notice that the parenting time percentages at the bottom of the screen update based on your changes to calculate an accurate percentage of time spent with each parent. If you want to offer this schedule to your clients, you may also want to add pick up and drop off details so that the coparents can each print out a copy of the schedule and refer to it as needed.
-
Why can't I edit the Property Schedule? The Property Schedule (based on the Scott Schedule) is populated based on the data entered in the Agreement Builder. You can pop back into the Builder at any time in order to update the Property Schedule data. Heads up! If you've disconnected from the Builder, you'll need to manually update the numbers in your Agreement to reflect the changes you're making to the Property Schedule.
-
Can I go back to using the Builder after I've started editing? You sure can! At any time you can return to the Builder, update your entries, and then pop back over to the Editor tab and click the Update button in the top right. But be careful! This action will revert your full Agreement back to the version produced by the Builder. If you've done a fair amount of editing, you may want to consider making your changes in the editor itself, rather than using the Builder.
-
How do I disconnect from the Builder to start editing? If you are done with the Agreement Builder and are ready to start adding your own clauses and details, you'll want to navigate over to the Preview tab and scroll to the bottom of the navigation panel on the left hand side. You'll see a button that says 'Edit Agreement'. Again, make sure you're done with the Builder first, because once you start using the Editor you're essentially 'breaking away' from the Builder.
